I’m captivated by your being,
Unsure if it’s your words,
Or your beauty,
But I’m hooked like a big mouth,
Waiting to be reeled in,
To be taken pictures with,
To be your prized possession.

My fascination causes me to stop,
Smile at the simple things,
Like a text,
Because your words are mirrors,
To a soul I’m looking forward to knowing,
Understanding,
Appreciating like it’s GODs gift,
Because to one you are.

You may not appeal to others,
But you weren’t made for them,
Your charm doesn’t cause them to think about you,
Randomly,
Showing emotions handsomely,
But has me thinking about things I shouldn’t,
Like, sunsets with your hands on me,
Or cabanas on islands as you dance on me.

But it’s weird, that you appreciate it,
You don’t judge me, tho I can’t wait for your gavel to bang,
Saying I’m guilty,
Sentenced to your heart forever,
Where I won’t complain,
I won’t appeal,
Because somewhere deep inside,
I believe,
It’s where I should have been for a long time now.
